This project involved replacing the existing asphalt roof with a high-performance standing seam metal roofing system. After removing the original roofing and flashing, our team installed new ½” CDX plywood roof decking where needed to ensure a solid and reliable substrate for the new roof system.
To improve the home’s energy performance, attic improvements were also completed, including adjustments to the existing structure to allow proper ventilation and the installation of new blown-in insulation. These upgrades help improve airflow, increase thermal performance, and support the long-term health of the roof system.
The roof was finished with a 24-gauge double-lock standing seam system from Englert in Medium Bronze, along with new flashing, ridge ventilation, and lead chimney counter flashing. The project concluded with full site cleanup and a magnetic sweep to ensure the property was left clean and safe.
