Siding is Important
Siding is the first line of defense against the elements. Properly installed siding will make your home more beautiful, and protect your investment for years to come.
Types of Siding We Install
Board and Batten
Board and Batten Siding is efficient to install and creates a more rustic looking exterior.
Clapboard siding provides the most traditional looking exterior at a middle price point. Cedar, as shown here, can be left to age, or be painted or stained.
Cedar shake is the most labor-intensive form of siding but offers a classic New England look.
Vinyl Siding offers the least expensive way to protect your home's exterior. Modern vinyl siding does a surprisingly good job of mimicking the appearance of wood while requiring minimal upkeep.
Cement and Composite
Cement and composite offers low maintenance and fire-resistant. It is provided in a variety of appearances; including mimicking the natural beauty of the wood.
Properly Installing Siding
Properly installed siding must allow for drainage by adding the appropriate house wrap, or breather behind the finish material. Materials must be connected to allow for expansion and contraction during heating and cooling cycles, as well as incorporate the appropriate flashing details and fastener patterns to shed water and resist wind.
